We ♥ the Suburbs is a project conceived by Melanie Bax and Sarah Considine and is dedicated to celebrating the suburbs. Originating from an architectural and design background, we believe that while urban and rural locations are regularly considered, the suburbs are often ignored.
We see the potential of suburbia, but also its need for change and progression in the face of contemporary issues. In this process, local collaboration is vital. Suburban social change is achievable through design.
